3rd Croatian Water Day 2015: Thirty cities participated in the biggest ecological action - 05/06/2015
On Saturday, 30th of May 2015, Maurizio Codurri, President of the Italian Branch represented Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation as a host of this year final ceremony of the Action to the third time marked the Croatian Water Day that presents the biggest action of cleaning Ocean, rivers and lakes all over the Croatia organized by GUWAA (Global Underwater Awareness Association).
Divers and activists cleaned the rivers, lakes and seabed in cities as Rijeka, Zadar, Zagreb, VaraÅ¾din, Pula, Trogir, Imotski, Slavonski Brod, SIsak, Ilok and many other cities. The final ceremony and water cleaning action was held in the very center of Split – on the seafront. The goal of this project was to increase the awareness on necessity of the preservation of our water and constant protection and cleaning of our environment. The support to this national ecological project was received from many respected and well-known personalities in Croatian society.
