The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is proud to unveil the third cohort of its Re.Generation Future Leaders Program, a unique initiative empowering the next generation of environmental changemakers. This new cohort of ten young leaders, all under the age of 37, represents diverse fields including marine conservation, sustainable entrepreneurship, community activism, and climate finance. These exceptional individuals are united by their passion for protecting our planet and creating a more sustainable future.

MEET THE 2025 CHANGEMAKERS

  • Shirley Binder (Panama) - Marine biologist and Senior Officer at Pew Bertarelli Ocean Legacy, recognized for leading Panama’s marine protection efforts and negotiating major shark conservation agreements.
  • Lefteris Arapakis (Greece) - Co-Founder of Enaleia, promoting marine ecosystem restoration and large-scale plastic collection by engaging fishing communities across the Mediterranean.
  • Elena Martínez Martínez (Spain/Dominican Republic) - Co-Founder and CTO of SOS Biotech, turning invasive seaweed into high-value bioproducts while fostering a regenerative blue economy.
  • Irina Fedorenko (Russia) - Climate finance expert and serial green tech entrepreneur, Co-Founder of Dendra Systems, Flying Forest and Vlinder, and a leader in nature-based solutions and ecosystem restoration technologies.
  • Xananine Calvillo (Mexico) - Indigenous activist and Co-Founder of Jna Tsjo, championing traditional knowledge, food systems, and youth-led climate justice movements in Latin America.
  • Yara Yousry (Egypt) - Architect and sustainability advocate, Co-Founder of Bahtinet, a social enterprise creating biodegradable textiles from banana tree waste while empowering farming communities.
  • Ailars David (Tanzania) - Marine scientist and Founder of Sustainable Ocean Alliance Tanzania, leading ocean restoration and youth empowerment initiatives along the Tanzanian coast.
  • Célia Roussin (France) - Entrepreneur and Founder of Pépite Raisin, specializing in circular innovations using grape and wine industry byproducts for regenerative solutions.
  • Björn Sandström (Sweden) - Professional cross-country skier and environmental advocate, leveraging his platform to promote sustainability and climate awareness within winter sports.
  • Adhitya Raghavan (India) - Engineer and social entrepreneur focused on sustainable manufacturing, renewable energy, and equitable access to transformative education.

 

A TRANSFORMATIVE CAMPUS IN REIMS AND MONACO

From June 18 to 28, 2025, the Re.Generation Future Leaders Campus will convene the cohort in Reims and Monaco for a high-impact program focused on leadership, communication, and collaboration.

The experience will include:

  • Leadership and communication training: Workshops led by world-class experts including INSEAD faculty, with a focus on storytelling, media impact, and influencing change.

  • Inspiring Masterclasses delivered by global leaders:
  • Sandrine Sommer, Chief Sustainability Officer at Moët Hennessy
  • Frederic Dufour, CEO of Ruinart
  • Paul Polman, Business leader, Campaigner & Co-Author of «Net Positive»
  • Jill Tiefenthaler, CEO of the National Geographic Society
  • Ingvil Smines Tybring-Gjedde, Former State Secretary at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy of Norway
  • Omid Aschari, Senior Advisor at UN Global Compact
  • Perrine Lebrun, Corporate & Government Affairs Senior Director at Mondelēz International 
  • Kate Robertson, Co-Founder of One Young World, Former chairman of UK Havas Group

 

  • Field visits and networking: Site visits, including Moët Hennessy’s sustainability initiatives, and opportunities to build lasting connections with fellow changemakers and the Foundation’s partners.

 

A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT

Following the campus, the Foundation will offer tailored communication and public relations support, providing the cohort with opportunities to speak at international events, participate in media engagements, and amplify their projects through the Foundation’s platforms. The Re.Generation network is actively maintained year-round, encouraging collaboration and the emergence of new environmental initiatives among its members.
