The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is pleased to announce the Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health, dedicated to Ocean, Earth and Humanity, will take place on Thursday, 24 September 2020 on the Terraces of the Opera of Monaco.

17-time GRAMMY Award Winner and superstar STING will be honoured for his personal long-lasting commitment to address the World’s most environmental pressing challenges. Hollywood icons and dedicated conservationists, Dame Helen Mirren, Kate Beckinsale and Andy Garcia will act as Masters of Ceremony to make a stand for the Planet and the future of Humanity.

Presided by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and founded by Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby, the Gala will bring together global philanthropists, policy makers, business leaders, scientists and celebrities, to help raise funds in support of the Foundation’s main coservations programs.

“For 15 years, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has invested in regenerating and healing humanity’s broken relationship to nature. COVID-19 has revealed our fragility as a species and delivering a very clear message; personal health is tied to our Planetary Health,” asserts Olivier Wenden, Vice-President and CEO of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.

Milutin Gatsby, Global Fundraising Chairman added, “The time is now. Each one of our positive actions to live more sustainably and consume more consciously on Planet Earth now matters more than ever before. We are in our last chance to save Humanity.”

In these difficult global circumstances, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is proud to support this year the Monaco Red Cross in their activities on the ground to fight the global pandemic. Select projects will be mutually selected to benefit from Foundation’s financial grants. For almost 15 years, the Foundation has already supported over 540 global conservation projects.

The event will be compliant with all the sanitary measures defined by the Principality to contain the COVID-19 pandemic; the security of the guests being our top priority.
