The passing of Professor Wangari Maathai

It is with great sorrow that the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has learnt today of the passing of Professor Wangari Maathai, a member of its Board of Directors. H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the President, the members of the Board of Directors, together with the Foundation’s staff, deeply saddened by this news, would like to extend their condolences to the Professor’s family and to the members of the “Green Belt Movement”.
