Since the great success of their first project in Nepal, the IRHA and its local partner Kanchan Nepal are receiving many requests from local communities to implant “Blue schools” in this mountainous region.

Thanks to this project, almost 1800 students and the scholar staff of five marginalized communities of the Annapurna Mountains in Nepal are enabled to have access to drinkable water, decent sanitary, a better life hygiene and to participate to an egalitarian team sport gathering girls and boys (volley-ball).

Supported by the Prince Albert II Foundation in collaboration with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the project intends, over time, to strengthen social connections and to lead local populations to manage water and responsibly maintain installations, for the benefit of communities as a whole.
