This project brings together water, sanitation and hygiene - WASH - provision, development, and wetland conservation, helping communities to manage their water resources in a holistic and sustainable way in Ethiopia.

The project tackles ecological issues and community management of water resources. This is done by training farmers in water resource management techniques and helping to restore the ecological balance of the area. They also use the Community Based Water Resource Management (CBWRM) approach, which helps communities to manage their water more effectively, through ecological interventions and advanced planning for droughts. Finally, people gain access to WASH, which improves their health, life chances and education.
