"Where the rain falls" is a three-year project concerning global warming, food security and human mobility which is being implemented in eight countries: Peru, Guatemala, Tanzania, Ghana, India, Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam.

The first component of the project is an investigation into the links which exist between variable precipitation models, food security and human mobility.  The second component, which is based on the conclusions, concerns the pilot adaptation projects by the communities. Depending on the country, these projects will take on the form of interventions aimed at promoting: improved water resources management, the adoption of farming practices that are better adapted to climate change, preparation for the risks linked to natural disasters and the empowerment of women.
